Marcel & Blanche Fevre     Chablis Grand Cru, Les Preuses     2009 (CB-MB-G-CBLP-09)

Exceptionally well located with a southwest orientation at the top of the other Grand Cru area. Vines are between 20 and 30 years old are rooting very deep to extract the best of this wonderful terroir.

A bright, pale yellow colour with golden glints. Nose is very pure with strong floral aromas (hawthorn blossom). This wine features a very nice harmony between notes of vanilla, ripe fruits (white peach) and silex. The mouth is very elegant and rich with a great balance of freshness, minerality and length.

The pride of the domaine. Vines are over 30 years old and enjoy a southwest exposure, with a pure Kimmeridgian soil. Located just besides the Grand Cru, it is considered a unique terroir,

A bright, pale yellow color with some glints of gold color. The nose is intense, elegant, complex with lots of finesse. Aromas of slightly roasted notes, buttery with ripe fruits (peach and quince) prevail. The mouth is deep and generous, with spicy notes (anise) and a real minerality. Deep length, well balanced with a hint combining fruit and minerality

One of the most famous Chablis Premiers Crus, it originates from vineyards situated on long slopes facing the sunrise, allowing for rapid soil warm-up that helps quality maturing. The average age of the vines is 30 to 65 years.

An attractive bright golden color with some glints of green nuances. The nose is intense floral (acacia) and mineral, with some very nice ripe fruit notes (white peach). The mouth is long and rich with a nice balanced finish between fruit and minerality.

Located on the southern border with the Chablis Grand Cru, close to the Montée de Tonnerre, the vineyards are alongside the right bank of the river Serein, providing southern exposure for excellent ripening. This Premier Cru is one of the most re-known from Chablis.

A bright golden yellow with glints of golden green color. The nose is intense floral (acacia) with light notes of oak and vanilla. In mouth, the combination of richness and minerality provides for a wine of great finesse and style.
